We no longer present Gérard Gahnassia to the French public. After having obtained his piano and chamber music prizes at the CNSMP and his concert license at the Ecole Normale de Paris, he devoted himself definitively to his career as a soloist.

 

Many countries host it regularly: Spain, Italy, England, the USA, Israel and all of the French overseas departments and territories. The variety of his repertoire has allowed us to hear him in recital as well as in chamber music, or with orchestra in an unforgettable concerto by Tchaikowsky.

 

CD recording is also an important part of his career. It should be remembered that Gérard Gahnassia, in addition to his activities as a soloist, is the artistic director of the international competition "Les Clés d'Or" which aims to discover the talents of tomorrow in different disciplines such as the piano of course, but also the violin, flute, guitar, brass, lyrical singing, etc…

 

This activity leads him to audition each year nearly 1500 candidates from all over the world and this is how he is regularly contacted by the famous television show, "PRODIGES" for a casting of his favorites!
